Welcome to my world! I am a healer at the beginning of my practitioner journey. Originally from San Diego, where I received my first heart-opening massage at an early age, my family of five settled in Olympia in 2023. This move was the catalyst for finally pursuing my passion in bodywork.

Graduating the top of my class from Bodymechanics in 2025, I entered the field with a fresh perspective and new techniques as massage therapy is being increasingly recognized as medically effective. Guided by intuition and anatomical familiarity of the body, my treatment sessions are steeped in energetic flow. I tap into my experiences as an avid client and passionate learner to address your bodywork needs.

When I’m not in a session fully present for my clients’ needs, I am adventuring with my three young kids and spouse. I’ve been a stay-at-home parent since my first born and practice compassion and patient guidance daily. I enjoy hiking and forest bathing. You also might find me playing music around town when the opportunity arises. I bring everything I am to my sessions and look forward to working with you on your wellness goals.

HI! My name is Emily and I am Crunchy Muscles! I am also a co-owner of Nearing Total Health. I am a Washington transplant from Southern Utah and knew this was home 2 weeks after moving here. I pursued my passion and graduated from Body Mechanics June of 2020. I am an intuitive healer and listen to the body but I mainly do injury treatment, sporty type wellness massage, Intraoral/TMJ Dysfunction, Lymph Mojo, and relaxation. I am certified in RockTape Application (Kinesiology Taping) as well as Cupping/Gua Sha! I am also dabbling in Reiki energy healing and can’t wait to bring that into sessions!

Over the years I have come to realize that I can’t have just one specialty. No one human is the same. So, for me, no massage will be the same. I am super fascinated by the human body and all that it can do. I have fierce ambition and am ready to know all the things… but that takes time. I’m constantly growing and learning and studying. My goal is to keep you comfortable and give you the best massage and get you feeling tip top and out of pain.

I’ll treat you where it hurts but also everywhere else because I like to look at the bigger picture and try to figure out what may be causing the pain and how to help get you out of it. We are interconnected. “Everything connects to everything else.” – Leonardo Da Vinci

I have two hilarious kids and I love laughing with them and looking at life through their eyes and doing kid things. I love fitness and am very passionate about health & wellness. I also love nature and try to get an adventure in as much as possible. I like to dance and laugh and am quite goofy(aka weird). I just love life and love having fun.
